Despite a history of rocky relations between U.S. President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Obama administration could largely be counted on to watch Israel’s back in the U.N. Security Council, where it succeeded for more than five years in blocking successive efforts by the Palestinians to gain more of the trappings of an independent state and to get the world body to formally censure Israeli settlement policies.
That changed after the stroke of midnight Sunday when, in the early minutes of Monday, July 28, the U.N. Security Council, with the backing of the United States, issued a formal “presidential statement” demanding that Israel and Hamas implement an “immediate and unconditional” cease-fire to end fighting that has left more than 1,000 Palestinians and 43 Israelis dead. The Palestinians say they will continue to seek Security Council support for a legally enforceable resolution demanding that Israel halt its military offensive in Gaza.

Everyone is better off without US support right now. Even Americans. Everything the US does now is counter productive. Just ask Libyans, Egyptians, Syrians, Ukranians, Polish, and the list just goes on and on.

I don't think he thinks appeasing Hamas will make this country safer, he hates this country, and us, I don't think he wants to make it safer here.

One Jewish woman I know told me that her mother told her that the "Jews in Israel aren't 'our kind of people.'"
When I asked her what her mother and she meant by that statement, she shrugged and said she never asked her mother what terminology stood for but she thought it had something to do not only with where most Jews in Israel came from but also that they don't practice their faith the same (my friend is very liberal, knows very little about the practice of Judiasm and the scriptures.)
If I were to compare my friend's faith to that of a Christian, I would call them C&E or nominal Christians.
Lastly, my friend's parents were probably anti-Zionists back before WWII and do not support the desire of those who move or merely help out Jews who need their support today.
If my friend and her family lived in Israel today, they would be among those Jews that are always pushing the government to "make peace with Muslims," never once realizing that it is Muslims that don't want peace with Israel or the Jews, they merely want the Jews dead!
They live here not there....Union employment plays a large roll too. A work acquaintance said her husband always votes with the Union vote regardless if he opposes the candidate or not..

Well His footprint is certainly being removed little by little from all nations....so they can be positioned ....but it’s a while yet before the shock and awe affect.
Watch Russia now as the world puts the Pressure on that nations leaders.....when push comes to shove....the mad rush toward Israel.... and God steps in. Russia returns utterly defeated.... only to rise again in the end war.
And woe unto us in the U.S.A. Time to make sure supplies are stocked up, medical kits are handy, and breathing masks are available. Things can go bad here as the world situation gets nasty.
