Those white women polled by CNN were tattooed lesbians who voted for Elizabeth Warren and Obama, who live in Cambridge and environs, who work in abortion advocacy foundations or a local university, wear lumberjack shirts, high-top Doc Martin boots, drive a Prius with "Coexist," "Gay Marriage," "Global Warming," and "Obama" bumperstickers, are ardent Permaculturists, listen to Pink Martini, and are either anorexic or weigh 285 pounds. (Actually, if you're talking about lesbian couples, between them they tend to cover both extremes.)
