There was indeed a “red line” that was crossed. Only it was one drawn by Israel, and the Israelis mean it when they raise their voices.
Jean-Francois Kerre` is the one that blundered over that red line. Now even the Egyptians do not respect him.

I remember the French saying (paraphrasing) “ Oh shit! This guy is an idiot”, the Germans pointing out there will be no place safe on Earth, and a Scandanavian newspaper saying “Well, at least we won’t be involved, hopefully.” Over the years I’ve known we are being hated, ridiculed and VERY largely ignored because of Obama.
