Hamas is hiding in the al-Shifa hospital. Both French and US journalists have reported that Hamas leadership use the localities of the hopital as their offices, meeting and hiding places:

[A] French-Palestinian journalist told another reporter that he was intimidated by members of the Hamas Al Qsssam Brigades from their office next to the emergency room at Shifa Hospital.

Similarly, Wall Street Journal reporter Nick Casey noted that Hamas created a TV studio in the same hospital and tweeted a photo of a Hamas politician being interviewed there.

However, both journalists took down their tweets and web-pages, probably threatened by Hamas.

However, the neither the Israeli Airforce nor the Israeli Army bombarded the hospital, nor the refugeee camp. The losses in human lives were caused by misfired rockets from Islamic Jihad, The IDF did not have any activity in that area during the time in question!
