According to the ATO press center, the ATO forces liberated Debaltseve and Savur-Moguila high point (from there the militants were firing on Ukrainian army positions all the time).
Ukrainian armed forces entered Shakhtarsk, Torez and Luhutine. Combats for definite liberation of Pervomaisk and Snizhne are in progress.
The Ukrainian army and National Guard units are in the suburbs of Horlivka, they are preparing the liberation operation.
Debaltseve: Done. Next stop: Alchevsk - the last big city on the way to Luhansk on the M-04. Also should make it easier to take Krasnyi Luch.
Kiev is lucky the Russian “rebel” forces are collapsing so quickly - they’re doing a great job given the circumstances. With Russia stepping up operations, it’s going to be a big benefit to have the “rebels” pinned down into little enclaves.
There’s lots of talk right now about the possibility that the US may grant Ukraine major non-Nato ally status within a few days. That’d mean actionable real-time intelligence sharing and fewer restrictions / delays on weapons purchases. We’ll see if the reports are right. The Russian media seems really ticked off about that possibility.
Any clue where Savur-Moguila is? I can’t seem to find it on a map.

Also, several of the towns Kiev claimed they had taken yesterday are still under Rebel control, namely Shakhtersk and at least part of Debaltsevo.
There a bunch of tweets popping up about two aircraft shot down over Torez, as well.

Black Mercenaries - This isn't the first time this subject has come up. Some say they are African Mercs, others say US Acadami/Blackwater/XE personnel. Still others say they are forced conscripted from the West African community around Lviv. From many different reports, it seems Kiev is throwing everything they have into these last offensives. As I have said before, IMO, time is running out for Kiev, and the unrest in the west is growing quickly.
