IMO without the word “racist” I pretty sure there would little to no leftism and the welfare state would be rolled back. But it is an effective propaganda tool and so here we are cowering in fear and/or being herded by the Left. But enough griping from me, let me offer a solution for the mainstream conservatives. Single out the Identity Politics activists for scorn, they are an unlovable group by their very nature. So the main groups they claim to represent can be left alone but the scum can be singled out explicitly.

The true racists in the current amnesty debacle are those on the radical left. It’s true that among third-world nations, Mexican citizens are near the top with respect to wealth. If leftists truly cared about the deserving downtrodden, they would be lobbying to take the millions on the African continent and the millions more in squalor in Asia. But they don’t.
The US is protected from those thundering hordes by two oceans. Those most deserving don’t have the luxury of sharing a border with the US. So the poorest blacks, and the most oppressed Asians (much worse off than the average Mexican) are kept away by racist policies of the radical left who prefers hispanics to blacks and asians.
