Two kayakers adrift in Jamaica Bay with just one paddle unwittingly breached Kennedy Airports $300 million perimeter detection system.
They could have been spotted by a boat patrol except there wasnt one. Port Authority boats dont patrol the bay at night, police sources said.

Ban assault kayaks.
Ban assault kayaks.
Actually, any diver or swimmer who was bent on evil could enter the premises during the dark of night.
I Love NY.
It's dark - they couldn't see anything anyway.
UNION RULES????
Up the creek with just one paddle!
One is the lonliest number
Have there been a rash of kayak accidents, to accompany the rash of boating accidents?
Regarding JFK security, I recall biking to Idlewild airport (JFK's original airport name) - well, perhaps it was JFK at the time - anyways, we were under the runway, where it had an overpass. Would climb up to the runway. I recall setting up a movie camera to get REALLY CLOSE closups of landing aircraft.
Notice it doesn’t tell us what gender or species he was involved in the 3 way with. If he was a Muzzie this could be pretty much anything. Important news that should have been in the article.
OtterBox 1000... perfect size for a pack of smokes. Though, if you smoke menthols you got bigger problems than wet smokes and very well may be better off keeping them in a shirt pocket when kayaking with your 2 buddies... with one paddle... after overturning your 3 man kayak.
You are so right. These kayakers banned their own paddles and still managed to penetrate 300 million bucks worth of security. Know how many rivers there are in the US? Roads blocked, doubt the rivers will be. Food for thought.

Three weeks ago I, in my first attempt, produced singlehandedly, a mini rash of three. Used kayak, old model, one seat, small entry with legs inside, butt big, luckily don’t panic easily and can hold breath a good while. Did get the hang of it, sorta.
Fishermen on shore enjoyed it, for some reason they thought it funny. So did I after the first time. Did lose cap and cigs, and some pride.
Now you tell me. Electronic cigs in rubber coated pack, thought it was probably waterproof, wrong. Thanks for the info. Obviously need all the help I can get.
I find that zip-lock bags work just as well to keep things dry, and are a lot cheaper.
Sounds funny.
I’ve been kayaking for several years but just started running rivers with more whitewater. Never got dumped before this year. Now, I spend more time in the water than on it. Kinda fun.
