I worked with a woman from Arkansas once. She told me her mother had had an affair with BJ while he was governor. We talked about it for quite a while...she was a teenager at the time of the affair and still pretty bitter about the whole thing, as it destroyed her parents' marriage. I remember her saying to me ( this was sometime in the early-aughts... 2000-2003 or so) that the thing that really bothered her was that "If Bill Clinton were to call up my mother tomorrow, even after all the damage he did and how many lives were affected, she'd still go back to him in a second."
