Trading freedom for security isn’t a good idea, as living under the Patriot Act under the Obama regime has clearly shown.
I think because of recent history and the circumstances involved here called for the questioning of the two... They were not arrested, only questioned...
As far as IMR’s analogy of having gasoline in his vehicle, that is probably as stupid a comment as I’ve seen recently...
Everyone has gas in their car...Not everyone carries two pressure cookers to a hotel in New York after what happened in Boston...

Freedom and security means the govt is scared of the citizens, citizens aren’t scared of their govt.
The govt has to justify what they are doing and that means they have to create new threats and new solutions for the threats.
Perfect example. Over 20,000 gun laws the last I heard, and that’s still not enough.
