Russia is getting a huge influx of muzzies from Central Asia. Moscow streets like those in Paris are now blocked by massed muzzies kneeling at prayer & they demand worship space in Orthodox churches.

I was deployed to Uzbekistan ten years ago. Even then young Uzbeks told me Russia was their window to the West & that nearly a third of the population was in Russia either working or seeking work.

Uzbeks are Muslim but not the worst, tending to be secular, far more so than Afghans whom most Uzbeks despise for their harsh Islam.

Siberia is filling with Chinese but that’s another story.

I could only find statistics from 2006 right now and it says that the largest group were Chinese at 20%; Ukrainians at 16,9%; Uzbekistan at 10,4%, Turkey at 10% (mostly non-Muslim ezidy Kurds), Tajikistan at 9,7%.

Right now I think the number of Chinese have reduced significantly and migration authorities are eager to deport them for any minor violation. There is a zero-tolerance regime for African nationals. As soon as one is unemployed on labor visa or not attending classes on student visa they are getting arrested and deported immediately.
The number of Kirghiz immigrants is growing on the other hand and they are probably the most numerous group of immigrants in Russia right now, after Ukrainians. Visually you won’t tell them from the Chinese but their language is Turkic unless they grew in big cities or around a Russian army bases. These are usually speaking better Russian than Ukrainians or Russian rednecks. The majority are Muslims. The number of Uzbeks is getting lower too, at least visibly. You can see more East European types, mostly Serbs, Montenegrins and Moldovans recently, Central Americans (Cubans, Bolivian).
