The flood of children coming into the U.S. in the last several months is making national headlines.
Nearly 60,000 unaccompanied children entered the U.S. illegally in the past year, most of them from Central America. Several states remain under consideration to house many of them, including Mississippi.
(SNIP) He wrote President Obama about it, and explained “We simply do not have the resources, the location in which to house children who come here and do not speak our language, have no relatives in Mississippi.”
Congressman Bennie Thompson also wrote the president, saying Bryant doesn’t speak for all Mississippians.

I don’t know the name of the Mississippi. It should have been mentioned in the first or second sentence of the article.
I know people who go on mission trips to Honduras. I think they would house immigrants temporarily. But if Honduras is so dangerous, how is it that my friends have gone there as recently as three weeks ago with no troubles whatsoever?
My youngest sister, her family and her church group have made dozens of trips to Guatemala on missions to build community centers, small houses, etc.
All this is, is a petty, vindictive pResident trying to get his way, while punishing America at the same time. Any other generation of Americans would have ejected him a long time ago.
This is good. America is not a “refugee” camp, IT IS OUR HOME!!! Take that crap somewhere else!

Moving all those kids to Mississippi would take money away from all those “Gimedat” takers who are already there. We can’t have that happening.

I believe the Cochran Senate vote, being controlled by BGR will do whatever it takes to get more illegals into America. barbour will want them housed, fed, medicated and furnised obama phones. Then he’ll vote for amnesty, of course haley promises that this immigration bill will have wording to close and protect our borders. haley is probably telling Governor Bryant how many he wants housed in Mississippi as I write this. A year ago I would have never dreamed that bennie thompson and haley barbour were on the same team.
