Former Florida governor Jeb Bush is urging Congress not to use the current crisis on the southwestern border as an "excuse" for not passing comprehensive immigration reform.
Bush and Clint Bolick, co-authors of a 2013 book on immigration, write in a Wall Street Journal op-ed published Wednesday evening that surge of Central American children crossing the border illegally should not be a reason for House Republicans to refuse to pass immigration reform.

Somebody please tell Jeb that his time is over, nobody wants to hear his opinion.
That's what primaries are for. If you're right, he won't be an issue or concern.

Jeb’s compassion for all the criminal illegals pouring over our border, the rapists, child molesters, murderers, car thieves, drunk drivers, gang members, drug dealers, terrorists, human traffickers, slavers... is unquenchable, and outrageously foolish. His persistence in trying to sell America the on the virtues of illegals is pouring water on his presidential hopes. Keep it up Jeb. Stick to your idiocy.

There is a vein of Freepers who will vote for him if he becomes the GOP nominee and they will castigate all you don't join them. Well of course. He's got that magic "R" after his name. That's all that matters to them.

I hope Jeb’s just a flash in the pan. His sole “appeal” to the Hispanic vote is his wife. Nonetheless, if the 2016 nominee, he’ll learn to his dismay that it won’t help. The “R” after his name will guarantee little to no Hispanic support.

Jeb’s out there doing everything he can think of,short of setting his hair on fire and he doesn’t break above 3%.He’s a non-event.
