CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) A former Frankfort police lieutenant was sentenced to three years probation after pleading guilty to stealing more than $150,000 from his part-time employer.
Forty-eight year old Randy Emery is accused of stealing the money from the BP gas station on State Road 28, just off of Interstate 65 in Clinton County, where he worked transporting money from the gas station to the bank.

Congress, seems like thats what been done with most of the other people in Washington.
“I guess this doesnt rise to the level of a real crime.”.
Nope, it doesn’t, nor does odumbo “stealing” from the American coffers as he and the Mooooooooooooochelle travel around the world, play golf and vacation when ever, where ever they choose and on our money. If that isn’t a crime, nothing is.
I spend 7 days in 2 different County Jails for...
A $52.50 NSF Check and the next 8+ months dealing with it AND it STILL comes up on a Background Check keeping Me from getting several job's!
It was supposed to be dropped to a “traffic Ticket”
After I asked for a Jury Trial then the DA wanted: Time Served, $500.00 fine, 2 Years Probation AND a “anti-Theft Class”
What is that? A class that teaches you how to NOT get caught!?
And in the meantime We got the zer0 in the white hut using how many different STOLEN SS#’s ?!
Somebody please explain this to Me...
Pong
“We know it is OUR fault.
The poor dear was a LT in a PD and was
FORCED to take a part time job to make
ends meet.”
I hope that was a joke. Nothing in there said what he makes. Maybe he just has expensive tastes. Either way, lots of people are jn his position and don’t turn to crime.
This happened because cops know that it is highly unlikely they will ever face the music for their crimes, like this guy. That includes killing kids with wii controllers.
that’s rediculous what they’re doing to you
I’m guessing you are not an illegal alien or protected minority?
I would demand a half million dollar life insurance policy made out to me and the mrs as benefactors.
If prison was such a risk, I’d be okay with sending him to solitary.
He didn’t throw away his retirement, which would have been obscenely given to him near his current age of 48 anyway, had he resisted embezzlement.
Nothing short of the same punishment that non-cops would have got is fair for cops.
People whos JOB it is to enforce or interpret the LAW should receive DOUBLE the punishment for violation not half.
The violation of public trust aspect should be considered...a crime of its own.....!
Look to mexico...Thats what happens when the lines are blurred.
Its started here....and this sort of blsht facilitates the slide.
I hope that was a joke.

Not a ‘joke’ in the obvious way, but definitely sarcasm.
Did you ‘read’ the couple of lines below where you ‘highlighted’?
At a city I used to work for, the accounting clerk would take the days receipts to the bank 2 blocks from city hall. Someone felt that this was a bad habit and that a police officer should take the money for more protection. So the order went out and every afternoon at 4:30 a cop would show up and make the deposit in the drop box.
This went on for several weeks until it was revealed that those officers were being called in on overtime! The Chief would not assign his day shift officers (7am-7pm) to perform this task and the OT cops were getting 2 hours time and half for 15 minutes worth of work. Then when the city manager tried to stop it the Guild filed a grievance against the city which they eventually lost. In the end it the officers collected about 100 hrs of OT.
Yup, White Male Born in the USA and have the Documentation to prove it.
UNLIKE the zer0...
Try to do the right thing and get stepped on all the way.
If I hold My breath long enough I can turn blue;)
LOL!
I’ll get right on that.
If you ran for the local government union boss position, you'd get elected.
