You seem to think that those views are shared in Russia, and I'm telling you that they are not.
Putin's Russia, is much like the country of Italy pre-WWII with Mussolini at the helm. leaving the Fascist Party out of the conversation, (because I don't want to argue that canard tonight) Mussolini's goals were to re-establish a New Roman Empire. Both Putin and Mussolini use the same tactics of a controlled press, and a lot of nationalistic rhetoric. (rerun the Olympic ceremonies for a eye full of it)
The US has taken a weak but consistent position regarding the Ukraine and you are lobbying against it.
If your arguments are based on anti-interventionist beliefs, like those of Paul and Pat Buchannan, then frame them that way. But that's not what you and some others are doing.
So you come off looking like a pro-Russian, anti-US activist and that is all we see.
