R.I.P.D. grossed $33,618,855 in the United States–Canada market, plus $44,705,365 internationally, for a combined gross of $78,324,220. The film has been labeled a box office bomb, with the film's combined $200 million production and promotion budget.

I think people are sick of watching really bad CGI movies.
Bring back real acting on location. Spiderman 2 sucked. The only good
acting there was Sally Field.

The bulk of movies shown today are crash, chase, explode, burn, destroy, shoot, stab and maim epics made for teen-age male morons and adolescent men in their twenties to forties...all of whome live in a fantasy-world of robots, aliens, androids, zombies, gladiators and superheroes.
I ain't buyin'.
