The only thing that didn’t ring true in this article was when the author described Hillary as “intensely likeable.”

Halper is just promoting his book. It's old news.

/s

It actually comes across that way. It must be Bill's mind control.

Consider yourself lucky if you live through this, Mr. Halper.

MSNBC’s David Shuster learned this the hard way when he was suspended from the network for saying, “But doesn’t it seem like Chelsea’s sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?” in a live TV hit on how the former first daughter was being used by her mother’s 2008 campaign. The Clintons hit the roof over the single relatively banal comment, as I report in my book, and lobbied the head of parent company GE to get Shuster off the air.

I despise the Clintons as much as the next guy but if I don't think that's a banal comment at all. If the networks left their slime buckets at home they might actually have to report on a Republican proposal or two sometimes.

This is pure Stalinism. The Clintons learned their lessons well.

unbelievably my family has also had our lives personally impacted by the Clinton machine...when she was a senator.

thankfully we are now out of the situation that allowed Hllary to influence our family. Crazy stuff, but they take care of their own.

>>While I was still reporting on my book, James Carville’s office called, seemingly out of the blue, to grill me on whom I’d already spoken to. I obviously refused to indulge the questioner.<<

That when he should have rep-lied with names such as Chuck Schumer, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, .................

If people really want to know why the Dems are in the majority and the GOP sucks needs to read David Horowitz’s Art of Political War and then use it to analyze the behaviors of bothe the Clinton and Obama political machines.

These people approach politics as bloodsport. The GOP doesn’t have, has never had, anyone or thing close to it. Even Lee Atwater was more of a happy partisan warrior; these folks aim not only to win but also win as ugly and as brutally as possible to deter potential future challengers.

For 22 years, the Clintons have been a pox on the body politic of this country.

Another Here's what happened next.

Roger Morris's "Partners in Power" IIRC intended to disprove all the charges that the Democrat Clintons are corrupt. Morris had written biographies of Richard Nixon, Henry Kissinger and Alexander Haig and again IIRC was wildly popular for the less than favorable information about those three Republicans.

Funny thing happened on the way to the end of writing "Partners in Power" -- Mr. Morris found out that not only were the Clintons corrupt they were even worse than that. No invites from the media for Mr. Morris. There was only invective.

I bought the book for a $1.00 at a book store trying to dispose of books "nice" people just would not buy.

What’s up with Politico? I thought they were all dems, all the times. Lately they’ve been coming down pretty hard on some dems.
