LOL! Sorry you missed out on taking advantage of white priviliege. Yeah, I’m sure that in my 36 years with the same company I was “granted” all that I ever got. Couldn’t have been anything more since I started as a labor grade 7 mechanic and somehow worked my way up in to a supervisory position, a test conductor position and eventually a systems engineer position. Nah. Couldn’t have been months on end of no days off and working rotating 12 hours shifts to get the job done. Pretty certain that didn’t have any impact on my advancement. :>}
Yeah, I’m pretty pissed that no blacks back then told me that I had “white privilege, I could have just walked into a business, declared, “hey, I’m white”, and got the key to the executive washroom. Damn them for keeping that secret while I had to toil away for nearly 40 years.
No one of them told me I had white “affirmative action” that would catapult me to the top, qualified or not!
