What happened in the Dorner case was law enforcement going completely out of control in an extremely reckless manner.
Not a thing, except maybe promotions for all involved. now, if they had killed the old ladies, they probably be assistant chiefs by now. And in their defense, the truck they happened to be in did resemble Dorner’s. Each had four tires and a steering wheel. And since no one is perfect, that was close enough for them.
