"It is unacceptable to target synagogues or shops simply because they are managed by Jews," Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve told reporters during a visit to Sarcelles, which is also home to large non-Jewish immigrant populations.

It will be sanctioned, because it isn’t and never will be sanctioned. (Apropos of nothing at all — except I find it interesting that “sanctioned” has two, almost opposite meanings.)

The photos I saw of the ‘protestors’ in Paris sure didn’t look French to me. Good for him for at least speaking up.
Why is it that we have to look to the French, of all people, for moral clarity?

How hard did the French police fight to keep it from happening?
I saw video, those blue vans went around and around with loudspeakers asking those rioters to please stop, please.
