“Until you rid yourself of these fools, you’ll be a loser.”

I cannot throw rocks at all, with this being stated...

Something else I’d like to add to this conversation...Those that read this thread and what the eventual participants may say, I offer this...

Those of is who have, with substance, action, for a very long time, been working in the political trenches, should realize one more thing before you may, or may not feel your efforts were wasted...

Someday, a great many people will rise up and throw off this collective yoke of dependency...And before any of us get indignant, short-tempered or even hostile towards those very people that just now realize the plight of their loss of freedom and liberties, we need to put it in a calm perspective...

First, I would not sit back on my laurels, and watch the show...

Second, see the battle through...Do not be someone that fights like we have for years, see the newbies come up and then go on R&R...We still have a lot of work and cajoling to do (politically speaking of course)...

Third, Make sure that the political activist “legacy” that was created, has sustainability...And respect those that come in behind you...

As I say to folks when I’m given opportunities to lecture on various political outreach and future expectations to foment a conservative political environment in our community, I always point out to the crowd...

“What do you see??? Look around...”

[someone will answer when I open up the floor for this part of my schpeel...]

“I see a bunch of old people.”

Now...When that answer pops up, I very simply say...

“Don’t be offended, but the person is right...As part of a need to grow conservatism, in an age where it is unlikely to be in the minority, we need to foment this idea with younger folks in our communities...Many will reject it, call us old fashioned (I’m only 49 years old), but the reality is that I tell them I do not plan to be around forever, and our legacy should be to create this future, so we can be able to sit back and watch the fruits of our labors...I believe our countries original principles and folks who have given everything and sacrificed their lives is damn well worth it, in our own time!!!”

The destructive political ideologies in this country need to be so damaged, or just utterly destroyed...And the propaganda machine that passes for news networks need to be in the same boat as well...

The narratives that pass for news these days is all we see that fuels the fire in the people that blindly follow such ideologies, and our legacy, our future is dwindling right before our eyes...Our numbers spike every now and then, but it is never sustainable...

In a few months we get to make an adjustment where a big part of the problem roosts...

Personally, I do not think people in this country have the political courage to take this problem out, much less admit that they were wrong in the decisions to place such feckless and in-effective representation in Washington D.C., in our state houses, in our local governments...

I would love to be proven wrong...Not just in November 2014, but in 2016 as well...

“I yield the balance of my time...”
