Leaving a vapour trail in a clear blue sky, this was the scene seconds after a missile was sent screaming towards Flight MH17 at 1,900mph.
About two seconds after this picture was taken, the Malaysia Airlines jet was blown apart in mid-air. The rocket was apparently fired from the edge of Snizhne, a town controlled by pro-Moscow rebels.
It took 12 seconds to reach its target, which was flying at an altitude of 33,000ft.
This is the vapour path of the rocket which hit the Boeing, insisted Ukrainian intelligence chief Vitaliy Naida. Two days earlier, Snizhne itself was hit by missiles from what the rebels say was a Ukrainian warplane in an attack that shattered homes, killing 11 people. It is understood the rocket that downed the jet on Thursday was fired from a BUK launcher, a sophisticated surface-to-air missile system requiring months of training to use.
Jonathan Eyal, of the UK defence and security forum the Royal United Services Institute, said: They [the rebels] could not have used this system without direct Russian involvement.
Yesterday the Ukrainian government said it had proof that Russia had supplied the rocket launcher.
It said three of the devices crossed the border into Russia on Friday, less than ten hours after the jet was blown apart.
Discussing the picture, Dr Eyal said: The smoke trail is consistent with the trail that would be produced by a BUK missile ten seconds after launch, perhaps a little less.
The picture is grainy but there appear to be other missile systems on the left.
More pictures of the missile launcher emerged yesterday. They show what the Ukraine intelligence organisation SBU says is a convoy of three vehicles: a launching pad with four rockets; an empty missile platform and the command vehicle with launching equipment....

Okay now the media including Drudge has successfully kicked the U.S.border hemorrhage off the front page, and nobody on cable or satellite is talking anymore about the fed’s criminal germ-warfare relocation strategy. The more the U.S.border patrol gets shot at from the Mexican side, the more the stupid American news audience gets glutted with wall to wall eyewitness reports and commentary on the Downed Malaysian Airliner, the Ukraine, Crash Site Security, Body Bags, Separatists, Rebels, Russia, Body Bags, Putin, SAM Missiles, and more Body Bags. U.S. state-run media. Gotta love it.
Unless you believe that everyone is a monomaniac incapable of thinking of more than one issue, I don’t think your fears are warranted. The border issue and Hillary and Obama’s failed policy of reset with Russia - giving way to Putin’s reestablishment of the Soviet/Russian empire - are both failures of a huge magnitude. The border invasion is so huge that you needn’t worry. Its impacts will continue to harm and alarm people. Obama will continue to pretend it’s no problem. None of these problems are going away under the current national leadership.

Of course most people are sure that Russian associated rebels are responsible for the bringing down of the plane. Ukraine is desperately trying to link it directly to Russian troops under orders from the Russian Army. To do so would be a great propaganda win for them. Indeed it is quite possible that they are right - I wouldn’t be taking their word on too much though until we see a full investigation.
I wonder if ISIS brings down a Jet Airliner if we will be looking at Obama and Cameron for supplying them with similar weapons.

There is some evidence that ISIS has had MANPADS, but no evidence that they’ve had an air defense missile as sophisticated or capable as the one fired by Putin’s proxies.
"They [the rebels] could not have used this system without direct Russian involvement.
Given the source, that's a deliberate propagada lie, not ignorance like a lot of comments by people who just assume it's difficult and don't know any better.
In standalone mode any reasonably literate individual with the manuals can acquire, lock onto, and fire on a target. It's identifying the target, working as part of an integrated air defense, receiving the target information from a remote systems instead of the site radar, identifying false data being fed to you, dealing with ECM and ARM threats, etc., etc., that makes operation of them complex.
Recent and/or retrofitted systems even have modes specifically for leading operators through dry runs. This drills operators for high threat environments so they learn to go through the short sequence of operator intervention required as fast as possible in order deal with ARM threats by keeping the local radar on for the bare minimum amount of time required to pass information to the weapon when standalone mode is used.

But of course, you're not addressing that issue you're changing the subject, now aren't you?
http://reaganiterepublicanresistance.blogspot.de/2014/07/mh17-smoking-gun-rebels-caught-rushing.html
Your Putinista rebels bragged about taking the plane down until they found out it wasn’t a military one. Now, all the Putin propagandists want to rewrite history. Good luck with that.
Obviously false.
The Buk system dates back to the USSR days, when Ukraine was part of the USSR. After the breakup, Ukraine retained some Buks, and Ukrainian personnel had obviously been trained on them. It has been reported that the separatist rebels captured some Ukrainian Buks when the overran government outposts in their area.
It is thus entirely possible that the rebels managed to accomplish this atrocity pretty much on their own.
Of course, it's also possible, they were supplied over the border with missiles and/or missilemen. Vlad would have been pleased if they had bagged yet another of Kiev's air transports.
It is suspicious that the rebels were seen trundling their partially expended missile battery across the Russian border hours after the main event.
You already know for a FACT that I have said elsewhere the Separatists shot the plane down and should be taken out and shot for doing so. But you're going to pretend you just don't know squat and never had any back and forth with me before just like a good little propagandist.
Interesting.
You're still trying to change the subject avoiding what I just posted on this thread, related to this article.
Are you so lame they only gave you the "change the subject dodge" pages, not the whole BS manual?
Go play with the other kiddies or make a comment related to the topic of this thread instead of just spewing unrelated noise and adhominims.
It's past your bedtime anyway.

A MANPAD would not be capable at 33,000 feet that’s for sure maybe not even half that!
