a crowd of teenage partiers

Did any particular race predominate in this crowd? And by "partiers," I'm assuming the author does not mean fellas with noisemakers and party hats. Unless the noisemakers are .45-caliber and the party hats are baseball caps worn backward.

Not the use of the word TEENAGERS. The first part of the word is TEEN, a synonym in the Press for Negro, Black, Afro American, etc. And Crayola has announced the new Teen color crayon. It is a very dark gray.
