Why? This -helps- Putin. Watch and see. It will make Obama look more foolish than ever.
According to International Law that black box is to be turned over to the Malaysians — not the Russians.
“If indeed the Russian militants are on the site sweeping for evidence that it was their missile that hit the target, you can bet that evidence tying them to the missile will go the way of Lois Lerners hard drive.”
The way the militants rushed in after the plane went down reminds me a lot of when the Polish government plane went down in Russia a few years back. If I remember correctly, the Russians rushed to the scene to “lend aid” (yah, right!) and locate the black box. Did they ever turn the box over to the Polish government?
The FoxNews reporters failed big time using a graphic showing the MH17 track leading to just over the western Ukrainian border as the voice track talked about losing contact with Flight MH17, leaving a false impression. The reporters talked about the border between the Ukraine and Russia at the same time the graphic displayed the flight track on the western border. In other words, its another case of the reporters not understanding basic geography any elementary school child should know.
Show me.
Fox put far too much faith in “FlightAware”. FlightAware flight tracking can be stale by an hour or more and often is. Many times I have seen a flight from, say, Minneapolis tracking over Tulsa, Oklahoma per FlightAware when The plane had in fact already landed in Dallas, the incoming passenger gathered his luggage and exited the Airport.
Not only that the western border of Ukraine is shared with Poland, not Russia.
Fox newsreaders often have no idea what they are talking about.
It was from a picture on yahoo. It just showed the flight path and in the NW corner it stated Malaysian Airlines loses contact, the shows the crash in the SE corner of The Ukraine. If I hadn’t seen it I doubt I would have made it up. I remember laughing to myself thinking, Can’t Malaysian airlines get anything right?
I suspect you were looking at a FlightAware tracker grab. Or just a plain vanilla ignorant graphic. I heard a whole lot of errant nonsense on various TV channels today. It would not surprise be to see Yahoo screw something up in the same way.
