The polar vortexes come after you. You can’t stay away from them.

Oh dear. We did have snow here once. It was a dusting of the white stuff and stayed on the ground for 15 whole minutes. We all took pictures of it, so rare it was.

We DO get down into the upper forties during the coldest of winters and up to the upper 60's in the heat of the summer. But this is the West Coast of this great country and that is the climate.

We had 10 million folks here when I was growing up. Then, we had 48 million at the most but are "down" to 38.04 million (2012) from Google numbers.

Still TOO MANY people here!! I always hear from the newbies how WUNNERFUL the Midwest is for rearing children but...those folks go south for the winter if they can afford it OR MOVE to the West Coast if they can't.

Lol. Life is good.

The only month I haven’t seen snow is July. GRRRRRRR! Or should that be BRRRRRRR! The hottest I’ve seen is +40C (104 F) and the coldest was -58 F. I mostly stay inside.
