A friend of mine, a LEGAL, NATURALIZED US CITIZEN from another country, who spent years and real money to do it, asked me why Americans don’t go on strike. Not a strike against a company, but against government itself. I did not have a good answer.

Not that any of these is a good reason, but people are passive and "agreeable" out of ignorance, apathy, or fear.
