Choose the judge carefully. Some will look for any excuse to declare suspicious ballots legitimate.

My concern as well. I think the strictly illegal Dem and then GOP ballots will be hard to toss out. The rest? You can bet that bad signatures and such will not be so easily make the cut.

They need to find the 6700+ illegal votes cast by people who voted in the Dem primary. I'm not sure they are there yet based on this story. And I didn't see anything that tells me if they have finished the counting. Have they seen all the voting records?

The corrupt GOPe’s attorneys are feverishly fighting the release (as required by law) of identification data (e.g., names) on the election material. One of the favorite voter fraud tactics of the DemocRATS (and now their junior partners the GOPe) is voter impersonation. Voter impersonation is simply sending folks into different precincts claiming to be a different person on the voter rolls (DemocRATS have lists of folks who are registered but do not routinely vote and they also get real-time information on registered voters who have not yet voted).

Such voter impersonation fraud is a “piece of cake” where there is no Voter ID laws. Voter ID laws simply make it a little more difficult to commit such fraud. In this day of personal computers, color printers, readily available suitable card stock, lamination material and software from the internet, false ID (with the “poseur’s” picture on each phony ID card) can be produced in minutes on short order and large quantities.

The weak point in the voter impersonation scheme is that matching signatures are almost impossible to achieve by amateurs. The voter(s) who were impersonated (for those actually still alive and in Mississippi) know that they didn’t vote and most would say so if contacted.

“State Sen. Chris McDaniel, still refusing to give up his challenge to incumbent U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, said Friday via e-mail his campaign had found 8,300 questionable ballots across the state from the June 24 Republican primary runoff. He said many of those “were unquestionably cast by voters ineligible to participate in the June 24th runoff election” that McDaniel lost to Cochran.”

Words describing ballots as “questionable” and some voters as “ineligible to participate” seem weak to me, which is odd if laws were “unquestionably” broken.
