Sitting around the 19th Hole, it all looked so simple to the GOP leadership in the late 1970's. "The Democrats will have those Negro chaps forever. So, let's go get our own. Open that Border. What do you say, fellows? ... 'Nother bourbon here, boy."
Limbaugh listeners would perhaps prefer to forget he served as a chief flack for this US Chamber of Commerce/RINO Program of ignoring the illegal alien invasion. (Nowadays of course, he's a strong borders man. Better late than never?)
Unfortunately for the Country Club RINO Wing of the GOPe, while they are sitting in the bar and Congress waiting for the "Family-Oriented Catholic Latinos ... and their numerous generations to come" 100 million strong, to flock to the GOP to offset the Negro Vote, the Republic will have long ceased to exist, to be replaced by a Banana Republic ... that hasn't enough bananas.
BTW, betcha those Chi-town rioters, as soon as their blood cools down, or they run out of ammo, would STILL flock to vote for their boy or equivalent, if they could.
To be fair, Rush was fooled by the border enforcement promises that were not kept, along with many of us. "Legalize those here already if they are worthy, and keep the rest out unless they apply and are approved" sounded fair and reasonable at the time.
