Might I suggest reading about how hunting is the one sure way to guarantee the future of large, dangerous animals.

Note the huge ancestor of the domestic cow, Bos primogens, went extinct but cattle were multiplied by man. Being six feet at the shoulder and equipped with horns a Texas Longhorn would envy did nothing to protect them when Man decided they were too dangerous to allow in the neighborhood.

Rhinos have the same problem and only as long as Man wants them will they survive.

PS Only hunters and wildlife photographers want rhino in the area. Everyone else is tired of their behavior.

PPS Political RINO also face extinction at the hands of an electorate unwilling to tolerate their behavior..

The animal had been mauled by lions and required medical treatment. It wasn’t killed - it was sedated and immobilized to treat the injury and perform DNA testing.

She didn’t squander the Lord’s resources, she helped to save the animal!

BTW - hunters who do legally shoot rhino donate all the meat to local villages who greatly appreciate it.

Once on the verge of extinction, the white rhino now flourishes in reserves and on game ranches throughout South Africa, Namibia and to a lesser extent Zimbabwe. The population is healthy, estimated at over 8500 and surplus animals may be hunted. Many game ranchers consider rhino an excellent long term investment allowing many years of breeding before hunting the older bull and replacing it with new blood. Source

Have you seen the price tag for hunting a legal rhino? Here is one that went for $350,000. That money goes back into maintaining habitat for the animals. That IS stewardship, and if you want an explanation from the Hebrew of Genesis 1:28, I can do that.
