Reagan knew how to talk over the media to the American people. Then there was no conservative media outside National Review. Yes we can do it again.
The media wasn’t quite as obviously vicious back then, they we’re still pretending to be “objective”. When RR took the microphone and said “I paid for this microphone” they all s**t their collective pants. Oh crap, how do we deal with this, they thought. Then they formulated a strategy to never let that happen again. Enter Alinsky. Alinsky tactics were deployed before Barry, he just used it to maximum affect.
Now, they’re not even pretending. Constant attack, Alinsky style. It seems to work.
