Guess you must be retired, or you wouldn't have written something so asinine.
You see, these days managers want you to take "responsibility" for everything from production to safety, BUT they want you to do it WITHOUT and "decision rights."
Sadly, many workers actually buy into this charade.
I’ve worked jobs like that. They want you to take all the responsibility but have no decision making ability.
I quit.
Smart business owners know how to walk that fine line. Others have high turnover (and many seem fine with that).
When I hire an accounting clerk their is a “job descrpition” and I do want them to take “responsiblity” for their work.
What decision rights do they need to properly reconcile a bank account?
