I left my abacus in the car!
I know we joke a lot about this but this stuff is deadly serious. I wonder what it will take to happen here for the people to decide the government is not doing its number one priority, keeping us safe in that they are not ensuring exactly what the preable says, providing for defense and providing tranquility. Seems to me at that point they have ceased in their primary obligation and need to go.
I think it has been that way since Clinton, maybe even Carter. How many Democrat Presidents waste a GOP President’s term fixing the problems the Democrat made?
I’m even disappointed in Reagan. He could have worked to kill both DOEs and tighten up amnesty, but didn’t. Perhaps it’s Monday morning QBing, but we’ve seen this garbage coming since at least Clinton. Congress needs to reassert. I’m voting GOP straight ticket this November and encouraging others to do the same.
We’ve got the most conservative Congress in a generation. Let them send tough bills to the new GOP-lead Senate. There are several strategic bills that Democrats would have to pass over Obama’s objections. Let’s drive that for the next two years. If they just held the budget steady that would be an improvement.
We’re winning on abortion and gun liberty. We need to win on taxes and regulations, voting, and immigration.
