I guess it ignores the fact that lesbians have an incredibly high rate of domestic violence and gay men are typically promiscuous. Both are great environments for children...

Of course they are better off. And, pigs fly, Elvis is still alive, the sky is green, a majority of blacks will not vote according to race this fall, etc.

“Better off” by their standards probably means having gay sex by the time they’re 10 years old. Mean hetero parents don’t allow their kids to do these sorts of wonderful things.

The study simply asked self-selected parents if their children were doing okay in several areas. There was no objective data-gathering, only subjective opinion.

All that could be derived from this "study" was that gay parents told the same story as straight parents. Whether that's true or not is anyone's guess.

Whether you believe that God created male and female or millions of years of selective evolution did, either way you would have have to believe that either God or nature got in completely wrong for millions of years to think that two gay parents who can’t even reproduce without a third party would provide a better parenting structure than a male and a female.

Ok maybe a child would be better off in a home with 2 gay parents than spend the rest of his/her life in an orphanage—but that really isn’t happening these days. Gays and lesbians are having their own through surrogates or artificial insemination. By having 2 parents of the same sex the child isn’t exposed and has no image to mirror of the opposite sex. As someone commented gay men have a high rate of promiscuity and lesbians have a high rate of domestic violence — I am not looking for stats, but I know that is quite true for many gay/lesbian couples. Also there is a higher rate of addiction among both gays and lesbians which higher than the general straight population. I still stick to my opening statement—better than an orphanage —but that is statistically the minority of cases these days.

I only know my own experiences. I know a man and woman who adopted two kids from S. America as infants

While kids were toddlers, “Dad” discovered he was “gay.” Mom being a “progressive” sort, agreed to joint custody between her and ex-hubby and his gay partner.

Forward 10 years, and Dad is now on about his 5th live-in boyfriend. Mom is OK and gets help from her parents, although she’s a mushy leftist sort and weak parent.

The girl has a severe eating disorder and is usually very much overweight, and boy, does poorly in school, causes trouble and appears to be classic ADHD - so they give him all kinds of mood-altering drugs (for kids.)

In sum - the modern American family.

As always, the homosexual lobby twists reality to fit their narrative. They are selfish in morning, selfish in the afternoon, and selfish in the evening. They want to rearrange to world to fit their needs, and they don’t care how much harm they cause.

It was not a study. It was a poll.
