While this may be true, in the minds of the demented power hungry group of billionaires it will not matter. The next generation will either heal to their commands to use birth control or sacrifice their children to spiraling infant mortality and providing pleasure for the pink mafia.

The power obsessed may know what they want, but they aren't always rational about how they get it.

I also need to point out that, in the minds of the ruling class, third world people are morally superior to the American middle class because they don't use as much of Mother Earth's resources.

Of course, they never look at the flip side, i.e. that we are only 4% of the world's population and land area and product 50% of the world's corn, 70% of the world's durham wheat, etc. And it is about 1% subset of that 4%.
