Texas Border Volunteers still going strong

SAN ANTONIO -- The Texas Border Volunteers set up patrols on ranches in Brooks County throughout the year. Linda Vickers and her husband, Mike, organized the group after constantly encountering immigrants crossing their ranch.

During one watch last year, they reported two groups with more than 100 immigrants. These people are crossing very rough, brushy south Texas ranchland, mostly in the middle of the night.

Over the past 7 years, the group has reported literally thousands of immigrants to Border Patrol, which actually works with the group.

Jim Gibson, the spokesman for Texas Border Volunteers said on their most recent watch, in June, they only spotted a couple of what appeared to be children.

"In regards to females and children I would say the dropoff has probably been around eighty to ninety percent, based on what we've seen over the last three to four months," Gibson said.

Gibson said for the most part what they are seeing is men who obviously don't want to get caught at the border, but women and children are giving up there, believing they will get to stay.

He also said they are continuing to see other ethnicities, which brings national security concerns.

what has happened to all the Peyote ?

It should probably be put on the endangered species list .
Then declare the entire area off limits to all illegals .

The 27-year-old is now so well-known that he has a bodyguard permanently parked outside his house in Palo Alto, California.

One of the ranchers of that group was on Hannity along with his County Sheriff. He said they had found over 200 bodies on their ranches in the past year or so and over 600 in the past 5-6 (? not sure on that) years. ...Most were just bones, after scavengers had eaten them, or badly decomposed.
