Gun confiscation has started in NY. This video highlights two cases out of NY state where guns are being confiscated under the NY SAFE Act.

Has the word infringe been redefined?
Here is what I remember from those days.
1962 Thomas J Dodd and Emauel Cellar proposed the first federal law on handguns.
1962; “We don’t want to take away your guns, we ONLY want to register handguns! Rifles and shotguns will not be affected”.
1964: “We only want to register all your guns, not ban them! Only Army surplus guns will be banned.”
1968: “We only want to register your guns, and ban “Saturday Night Specials” and small foreign handguns along with army surplus rifles!” (They got the ban on 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles and handguns and small foreign pistols)
1970: “We only want to ban Saturday night specials! Large handguns and rifles will not be affected!”
1971: “According to the SCOTUS, Miller Decision, RIFLES are protected under the 2nd Amendment, handguns are not!”
1976: “We only want to ban all handguns! Long guns will not be affected!”
1981: “The NRA is a rifle organization! They should give up their handguns, and they can keep their rifles!”- Lee Grant on GMA
1984: “We must ban “assault Rifles, unsuitable or hunting!”
1989: George Bush bans import of some foreign made “assault rifles”.
1992: Assault rifle ban passed by Clinton.
2000: first calls to ban single shot .50 cal rifles...
2012 calls for MORE bans on semi auto rifles and handguns.
And so it continues.

Even so, if the misdemeanor was legally reconciled [that is punishment carried out] then a law to retroactively make it a felony is ex post facto law; such is prohibited to both the federal government and the several states by the Constitution for the United States.
For some reason, people keep repeating history. All this government grab for all our freedoms has been done before by many governments, but because of the people’s laziness, they refuse to read about history. There fore were are always cursed to repeat it, time and again, until, eventually, a group of people will be born that “FREEDOM” is injected in their genes. Until then, we will continue to repeat history again and again.

Not many know it enough and we seem to be destined to repeat it.
It should be plain from past experience in Great Britain and Australia that Registration has no other function than confiscation.
Sometimes you just want to scream at people – how can you be so stupid!!
They fall for the Registration won’t lead to confiscation lie so easily.
Yeah, I wondered. That’s all I have to say about that!
I wonder if this will be litigated ??

Excellent job of summarizing gun control history in America.
My advise to everyone, in this country, not only in New York. ARM YOURSELVES. STORE AS MUCH AMMO THAT YOU CAN AFFORD. Because this government will not stop in just one state. They will come after every body, in every state, just as soon as most of the people have been lulled to complacency.
and that always seems to be the hitch doesn’t it???
