I know I’m going to make people angry here, but what exactly did Cochran do that was fraudulent? Paid for a few votes? Appeal to the black community to vote for him. McDaniel could have done the same thing.

IN comparison, to other examples of vote fraud, this one doesn’t pass the sniff test.

I’d say all in all, I agree with what she is saying. Time to move on. LEt’s get the senate.

Time for Coulter to STFU. She has tripped over herself more than once lately. Starting to belief her own press.

So it's ok to "appeal to the black community" by paying them to vote for you? If that was ok, Cochran should have done it during the first vote.

Let's not forget the racist ads and robocalls made by the Cochran campaign, paid for by GOPe senators.

Cochran conspired with the very people who are destroying this country,to subvert an election. An election that he would have clearly lost without intervention. Why won’t election officials allow their paperwork to be examined?Could it be that they have committed felonies?

The major challenge is not so much "voter fraud" as paid votes. Yes, that happened, but it happens in every election. You're also right that McDaniel could have appealed to the black community to vote for him as well. However, where I see the McDaniel campaign has a legitimate case, is the circumstance where a voter cast a ballot in the Democrat primary AND the Republican runoff. That's not allowed under MS law.

McDaniel has found enough instances of this to make the difference. That IS assuming that the duplicate votes were all Cochran, but from my understanding, McDaniel hasn't been given access to all poll books in the state to determine exactly how large an issue this is. The fact that he's found enough votes in the counties he's been allowed to review so far, is sufficient to call the result into question IMHO.

Ann gets it right most of the time but when she misses, she misses. The more firm facts that come to the forefront, the more I see McDaniel is swatting at a pinata with a Nerf bat. Getting proof that the election was stolen is becoming less likely as each day comes. This brings us to a paradox as to vote for in the coming election; a brain dead drooling RINO or a Democrat that can make Reid look like a choir boy?

“Let’s get the senate.”

The ‘us’ in that sentence is the GOPe, who have systematically impugned, backstabbed, lied about, withheld funding, and otherwise screwed over anyone who is in the GOP but not part of their clique.

So, what you are saying to conservatives amounts to “get back on the danged plantation”.

You’re right - that does make a bunch of us angry. As it should.

Needless to say, I disagree with you (and Ms. Coulter).

While you don’t make me angry, I also think you are politically challenged. Your way of thinking gives the GOPE the ammunition it needs to knock off all our Tea Party candidates. When bad behavior is rewarded - it repeats itself. Take the Senate? Why? So, the elites can continue the work the RATS started? No thanks!

By buying votes, they nullified the votes of those who voted fair and square. Why have an election if one side has it rigged. To ‘move on’ gives illegal actions the right to win and to do it again and again. Voting used to be a valued right for the public to speak and choose. Not any more!.. and many have lost their confidence in that right to cast a vote.

I thought it was a breath of fresh air to see McDaniel fight this thing!

It's really easy to explain. Just read some of the news stories that have been posted here on Free Republic.

Cochran's campaign was losing badly in the polls to McDaniel among Republicans. They knew they could not win without getting Democrats to vote for Cochran, so they ran a campaign saying "hey Democrats, that Chris McDaniel guy and the Tea Party are awful racist people who hate Obama and will end all the free federal stuff you think the government should give out."

Only problem is that according to Mississippi Election Law, a voter can't vote in the Democrat primary and then go and vote in the Republican runoff election. You have to choose one party's primary or another to vote in. Can't do both.

But that is what happened here - the Cochran people just funneled tens of thousands of Democrats to the polls without verification of whether they were eligible to vote in the GOP primary runoff.

Now on top of that are the allegations that the Cochran campaign may have even engaged in blatantly illegal behavior of paying black voters to vote for Cochran etc... You can read more about that at: www.GotNews.com

The mainstream media isn't going to report on the allegations of wrongdoing, which is probably why you really didn't know about them or Mississippi election law. However, there are plenty of stories here at Free Republic that will give you the details about why what happened in Mississippi was potentially illegal, and why a new Runoff Election may be called as a remedy to the voter irregularities/voter fraud.
