....”Palin called on Congress to “do its job to halt an imperial presidency” and “halt the fundamental transformation of America.”......

I think if Congress had any intentions of acting they would have done so long before this..they certainly had reason enough to do so.

Palin’s able to speak out because, just as she said, she wanted the freedom to do so without political “ties” preventing her as she endured when running with McCain. Most politicians won't speak out unless they have a large support to do so from the public, and even then they will be so cautious the “crisis” generally passes or there's a larger issue to contend with.

They may even go so far as to tell us what's on the table..but it never gets acted on soon enough to stop or make the difference it needs to.

But this is different...this is ‘a very real invasion of our country’. Their silence speaks volumes they are compliant with what is happening. ...and that is frightening for there's no one in Washington protecting our nation or the people. What's more frightening is every other nation is seeing this now, that we are more than weak, we are flat out down on our knees! I fear then who could take advantage of the position we are in.......and how far they will go.

I also believe this fear is a good fear...for fear brings courage to act. I'm pretty much there.
