Btw, why do you think this is a new situation? Eisenhower hated the press and the NY Times in particular.

The reason they get away with it is because people LET them. They have your attitude and don't fight back.

That’s the third time you’ve said this. It makes me wonder What are YOU doing to fight back? Not trying to start a fight with you just curious what movement you’re involved with / founded to fight liberal control of the message.

In any case, the point is media marketing is MUCH more prevalent today than it ever was and it’s intermingled with politics much more than it ever was. Why do you think it’s so easy for “journalists” and TV personalities to get jobs in political administrations now? Why are those types of career moves so prevalent? It’s because the “marketing” of politics is EVERYWHERE. It’s inescapable. The media industry is a 98% owned subsidiary of the Left, Fox, Drudge and talk radio notwithstanding.

They (the Left) control the message because they control the delivery systems. Their true believers are the ones who decide what messages are ok or not ok. They decide what stories are reported - or not. They decide what angle the stories should take.

Journalists have always been influential but this new marriage between every facet of media (internet, movie, tv, songs, magazine) slamming you with “OUR WAY IS THE RIGHT WAY OF THINKING” takes it to a whole new level.

Feel free to disagree but this is the truth - like it or not.
