Well its a bit more complex than that.
As I said earlier today well, perhaps I did nor spell it out, before tghe so called “British invasion” there really was no rock on British radio, It was all buttoned down and stuffy stuff.

Allan H Weiner came to Galvaston TX and installed Tx made Continental transmitters on The ship “Caroline”

She headed off the coat of Ireland in the North Sea and they blanketed the UK with rock and roll 24/7.

That was the spark that got the brits wound up, then we had the so called British invasion.

It all started in America.
