No...I don't assume... I see it every day that America's youth rarely recognize or value their freedom.... Nor have I lost faith in fellow Americans....rather I recognize that many living in this nation are Americans in name only who have no loyalty to America nor it's history. They prefer to see themselves as “World Citizens”.

There's no time to give them the “benefit of the doubt”.....and no my view is not distorted nor misled. Rather I am very much informed of what is happening in our nation as well as Internationally...as are most Freepers.

But you are right I have no faith ‘in the mindset’ of many who call themselves Americans today....why should I...they aren't American as we know that to be? They have lost their faith in God or have none whatsoever. They have no loyalty but to themselves.... And those teaching our children throughout our public educational systems are following programs designed and implemented by liberal/Progressive “dingbats” who teach 'agendas' harmful to our kids. The call to take kids out of the public educational system has been sounding now for several years..and there's good reason for that. Doors are locking our kids in school.. "for their protection"...should be enough to make anyone squirm about the state of things in our nation.

Nothings being surrendered as you would like to believe....rather it's become a necessity to find 'alternative ways and means' to educate and teach our kids what they need to know. ..and protect them from the onslaught on our schools and their minds.

My son removed all three of his daughters from the school system two years ago..and that as young teenagers...."he gave the school system "the benifit of the doubt" only to watch his daughters wander further away from all that is good and right about our country and it's values. And they were in the "best" school system in the area.

It's the parents who need to be smarter and mature enough to do what is best for their kids......and that often means making hard decisions that do not come easily...and require them to be even more involved in their children's development. Left to the school system today it will indeed dull their reasoning and senses to what is right and what freedom means and is about.

An individual I know was completing his Masters (as an adult in his 40's) at a top college in the area when 9/11 happened. He was astounded at the discussions in the classroom, (led by the Professors), who said you would have thought we were in another country's classroom! He was more than angry at how the students saw this happening, as well as the US response to it.

So I will continue to disagree with you....we live in a secular and pretty much becoming socialist society....and our kids are being taught to accept this as the norm. They will not understand freedom as we have until they no longer have it and fight for it themselves...which may very well be too late.

If CWII doesn’t happen soon while those of us old enough to heave learned about the Constitution and Founding Fathers are still around, it will be too late. The younger dumbed-down and entitlement-taught youth won’t even notice fascism in their midst.
