Can you guess which state in the union holds the American flag the highest? The criteria for indicating the level of patriotism within a state population consisted of: -National Historic Landmarks per Capita -Veterans per Capita -Money Spent to Fund Veterans -Percent of Residents That Voted in the Last Presidential Election -People Who Google For American Flags to buy -People Who List America as an Interest on Facebook

Yup, the No. 1 criteria should be “out of state tourists per thousand residents”. Then the top 3 would be Alaska, Hawaii and Florida, and the full silliness would be obvious.
Texans are more faithful and patriotic to Texas!
Thanks.
If (or should I say WHEN) the SHTF, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near a major city. I worry about the people who live in urban areas.
A lot of people here in Maine have homes on gravel roads deep in the woods. Everything from shacks to very large, comfortable homes. Like you said, a good place to hunker down. Maine is the most heavily wooded state in America, so there is plenty of firewood for cooking and heat.
Many of the Maine people are natural born preppers....canning and prepping has been a tradition here for a very long time.
We’re 1st in obesity. Like 48th in education. Where am I? Anyone care to take a stab at it?
Texas the the most patriotic nation IN THE WORLD!!!! :)
NAPS, we get it. Where you live in Maryland is wonderful. There’s also some wonderful conservatives in Massachussetts. Doesn’t matter- Maryland, Massachussetts, and California are run by Leftist Regressive Moonbats and will continue to be in the near future.
lol. Ok. I will stop. it was fun for a minute. I know I was being ridiculous. Forgive me. I am a bit bored today.
OMG Don’t say that, I am caring for an elderly parent in CA. as soon as
I can leave this lib state I am headed to Texas!!!!!
Before we did, Ft. McClary State Park on Kittery Point caught my eye and we had to go check it out. A grizzled old volunteer guide progressed from the typical one word answers to being quite loquacious once it appeared our interest in the local history was genuine. We kept talking until the sun set and gave us the most beautiful and spectacular reflection off the eastern shore. We had our romantic seafood dinner late, but it was well worth it to see that site. We were so awed by it that nobody even thought to take a photograph.
Hey you Southerners talk a might strange too :-)
I grew up in Kearny. Named after Union General Phillip J. Kearny, ‘’Hero of The Wilderness’’.
That reflects the current colors attributed to the Republican and Democrat parties, respectively.
I say "sort of fitting" because the "Republicans" have become less and less patriotic as of late.
Same here - I've lived in Mississippi since '86 and no way it's in the top 3rd of unpatriotic States
It’s in the top 3rd states least visited by American tourists on vacation.
