I think we all know what type of "state candidates" this money was funding. We remove more of these types of people or drain their "warchests" as we have been doing, then we can make some progress. Cornyn and McConnell had to spend at least $16 million combined to get barely 60% of the vote. Graham spent millions and got only 56% of the republican electorate. And how much money was spent in Mississippi to get just barely over the line.

The fundraising to these people will not be what it was.

Kind of makes you wonder just what those people were buying, doesn’t it?

The only downside I can see is that, as regular conservative citizens refuse to fund their own loss of liberty, the politicians become more and more beholden to lobbyists and globalists.

I don’t think they got “over the line” in Mississippi..

Once the cheating and double votes are removed. They will have wasted a ton of walking around money on a loss.

“Helping Cantor help state politicians were big-name donors from around the country attracted by the majority leader’s former star power. They include late Texas billionaires Bob Perry and Harold Simmons and casino magnate Sheldon Adelson’s company.”

Bob Perry - Home builder - Low cost Mexican labor has been leaving Texas for a while now

Sheldon Adelson - Low cost Mexican labor cleaning Vegas hotel rooms voted for Harry Read

cotton1706:" Virginia state Republican lawmakers have lost one of their most reliable sources of campaign cash
with U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor's defeat in a GOP primary contest last month."

I dont believe it was Cantor's defeat that caused the reduction of sourcesof campaign cash
It was the appearance that the GOP-e would sink the entire slate of candidates in a civil war against TEA PARTY,
by taking away the election treasury , thus reassuring a Democrat victory.
Why spend money on a loseing cause ?
Just another political "hissey-fit" by an immature candidate and party demogogue leadership (?) who support him with his "hissey-fit".

Cantor did something MUCH MORE VALUABLE than he’ll EVER UNDERSTAND.

He showed Republicans that a challenger with NO MONEY can knock off one of the biggest, if not the biggest player in politics today. No one EVER thought that was possible. Even the Tea Party Groups wouldn’t go against Cantor, as they were ABSOLUTELY SURE he was unbeatable. And why not, since that has always been the case in recent elections. But that was before...

Now, that $700,000 (which is a drop in the bucket, by the way, coming out $50,000 per year...to spread in a state the size of Virgina - please - Clinton could raise a million in one fund-raiser) is TAINTED MONEY, as is Karl Rove’s money, and similar money from America Haters that want to join Obama in “transforming” this country by flooding it with Illegals.

I don’t even see any significance to the story...almost seems planted by the Cantor people to try to convince us that it was dumb to take him down. Well, sorry, IT IS OVER for Cantor, and some of us LOVE IT!

They didn’t make it over the line with legal votes, they went beyond just spending money advertising for votes and started buying votes.

Of course, it has nothing to do with the state draining the funds from the coffers after Dave Brat’s win, right? Poor RNC. They just don’t get any respect. They did not support their own governor’s candidate, actually supporting the democrat, instead, and you KNOW they’ll not support Dave Brat. Why would anybody give money? If the party rejects the voters’ wishes, then these are the real consequences.

I saw an article posted last week that Cantor’s organization was raiding Virginia GOP coffers and transferring as much money to the RNC as they could before he leaves office.

“Graham spent millions and got only 56% of the republican electorate.”

That is rather sad seeing as Graham had half the state’s democrat’s voting and campaigning for him.
