I'm IN frickin' Red Hampshire...it is a corrupt to the core sh*thole, and here you go spewing the same propaganda that Freak Staters pimp to get gullible idiots seeking 'freedom' to move here.

My wife and I have been swatted for growing TOMATOES, we have been hounded by some of the nastiest M*ssholes ever to set foot in this state, their corrupt 'open primary' system has left conservatives stuck with sh*t GOP candidates over the past few election cycles, and it is coming again this year.

High taxes? You bet...some of the highest property taxes in the nation, 9.5% on meals and lodging, tolls on anything with more than two lanes, taxes when you register your car, on and on. They get their blood money, believe me.

Plenty of crime. Back in the eighties, teens could 'cruise' Elm Street in Manchester...now; they'd be taking their lives in their hands. People need to READ the local papers and watch local news on line to get a TRUE feel for what goes on around here...or you can believe the 'Free State' BS and move here. Go for it, damn fools.

I do read the papers. Sounds like you need to get out of Manch, or Nashua aka Taxachusetts north.

The open primary is easy to rectify; select candidates via convention. As the VA gop decided to do a few years back. But the R’s and D’s don’t realllly want that, as they would have to pay for their own nomination process rather than sticking the taxpayers with the bill.

As for license and restaurant taxes, you have no idea how good you have it. In VA we have localities charging upwards of 15% meals tax. And license taxes...the plates are only about $35. But you have to pay local property taxes and vehicle fees. Those are 3-5% of the value of the vehicle every year. The state offsets some of that, but the offset is going down. Plus sales tax on everything, and a state income tax. And property taxes on real estate. Depending where you’re at, those work out to 1 to 2% of value. Every year.

Funny thing is that VA is nowhere near the worst when it comes to taxes. So given a choice, I’ll take NH taxes any day of the week, thanks.
