He’s not perfect and probably not even good, but he’s always been willing to cross over party lines for one random cause or another and to come onto fox and talk.
That’s what passes these days.
Clinton came in second or third in a gallup poll as best presidents ever.

Lieberman had the opportunity to be remembered as a statesman. But following his passionate speech condemning the behavior and acknowledging the validity of the charges against the impeached B-J Clinton, Lieberman chose to put his political interests and the interests of the Democrat Socialist Party above his Constitutional duty and voted not to convict the disgraced president.
Lieberman's actions at that time were those of a political hack, not those of a true "statesman".
