Five people were arrested Friday as crowds of protestors and immigrant rights supporters gathered outside a Southern California Border Patrol facility where another convoy of buses carrying undocumented immigrants was expected to arrive.

Tensions were running high as three women and two men were arrested after scuffles broke out about 4 p.m. between demonstrators in Murrieta. Police said the altercation began when a woman on one side of the crowd pushed a person from the other side. An office who witnessed the shoving stepped in to make an arrest.....

At midnight July 4, around 100 California residents stood vigil outside of the Murrieta Border Station waiting to block the next busload of illegals.

The protest was organized via the following message on Facebook:

We are going to be at the Murrieta Border Station from 12 midnight to 12 noon on America’s birthday July 4th. Each state federal agency and people involved in the transportation of the political pawns (illegals) are being told different stories to keep up off guard. Two different times were given noon and midnight to 3 am. We are going to be there from midnight to noon until buses come in!

I suggest bringing blankets & we can take sleeping shifts. Sleep in our cars! Also make sure you have snacks & water. God bless this nation and protect us.

According to Riverside resident and overnight attendee Louisa Millington, counter- protesters began arriving “by the busloads” at the Border Station around 11 p.m.   “They were blowing their car horns and trying to engage the other side in debate…mostly screaming… trying to incite people to get angry.”

Translation: “We say enough! Release our children!”

At approximately 2 a.m. police radios were heard saying the buses of illegals weren’t coming; at that time, many protesters left but returned later in the afternoon.

Tensions remained high throughout the day including an incident with California PolitiChick writer Lainie Sloane, who was threatened with arrest while trying to park her car.

Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, who gave PolitiChicks a statement from the Murrieta Border Station, says by late afternoon the 400-500 protesters were “chanting and ranting” about things Donnelly says “have nothing to do with this government-created humanitarian crisis.”

“This is all about Obama with his Deferred Action, known as DACA (Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals) which is the backdoor amnesty for anyone under the age of 16,” says Donnelly, who referred to Obama as the “Human Trafficker in Chief” who precipitated the crisis...

Riling them up would be if the displeased King decides to make an example of Murrieta and stormtroops the illegal alien children into town anyway.

I wouldn't have thought that there would be federal jurisdiction over a small California town, but I guess we're all the King's subjects now, residing on the King's land at the King's pleasure.
