Careful. I have met him, and, at least 30 years ago, he was a mean SOB.
I have heard that, since my unfortunate encounter with him that cost me a gig, he has been born again and even entertains the troops. I often get patriotic messages attributed to him in my email, so I have, of course, forgiven him.
