CWII Spark — States refusing to do their duty and/or the federal government preventing them, both could kick things off.

TX Constitution
Art. 4, Sec. 7. COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF MILITARY FORCES; CALLING FORTH MILITIA.
He shall be Commander-in-Chief of the military forces of the State, except when they are called into actual service of the United States. He shall have power to call forth the militia to execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions.
As a poster up-thread said: a lawsuit is [often] an excuse to not do something.

Yah. Only a spark if Perry had the testicles to put the Texas guard and civilian militia on the border and stopping obozo from sending in more illegals

Perry is a weak, contemptible man. Perry is hoping and praying most Texans don't read Art. 4 Sec. 7.

Perry is one of the very few who are in a position to truly act to stop this destructive invasion -- yet he essentially does nothing.

Perry deserves the utter scorn and contempt of every United States loving Patriot.

When the epitaph of the U.S. is written, let it be known that Perry did nothing to stop the destruction of our Republic.
