I am interested in what China will do. They need the oil, and have contracts with the current government. If their deal goes south, what will they do?

China doesn't need to do a thing. ISIS, once it takes over, will happily confirm those contracts. They need to sell oil! And China is a very good customer, with infinite funding and with infinite demand. Why would ISIS cancel the deal?

Why would ISIS cancel the deal?

If the fields have been damaged, or if the flow of oil gets disrupted for a long time due to intense fighting over the region. Its probably the one of the few regions the shiites will fight hard for.
