Speaking of open carry... I'm a fan of concealed carry. I have a nice Galco that fits my Glock G19 and I really well.

However, this is not a retention holster. If I was going to ever go open carry I'd want a good retention holster. Anyone have one they like for something along the lines of a G19?

Bianchi makes a nice one for the Glock 19. Actually I think it’s a Safariland, since somehow the two are connected now. Model #83. I have it in belt and paddle for my 19. The retention device is a paddle you depress with your middle finger as you draw.
LOOK at Alien, Comp Tac and Galco ‘King Tuk’ IWB holsters as well.

sweet. i ccw a glock 26 and will be getting a 19 next week. i called the manager at my neighborhood chilli's when they said the same thing and she said they don't care about ccw but aren't fond of open carry which i completely understand. the only time i would most likely open carry is hiking in the back country. it's crazy. you can ccw in a national park except in the visitor's center.
