As the curtain is pulled up on all the shenanigans involved in one way or another with last weeks Mississippi GOP Senate primary, the cast of characters amazes.
At the storys center is a group calling itself Mississippi Conservatives. The group is on the receiving end of furious charges of race-baiting and racism that have smeared not only Tea Party candidate Chris McDaniel but the larger GOP and the GOP Establishment that participated in the smear. Weve been through the names of contributors over there at the Federal Election Commission, and looked into some of those involved.
The still unfolding story involves everyone from a contributor to President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Vice President Joe Biden to former Vice President Al Gore and Democrat Senators that are being targeted by the National Republican Senatorial Committee in the 2014 elections.
Also involved? Two-co-authors of Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebuss autopsy report aka the Growth and Opportunity Project that made much of outreach to African-Americans. One of them an RNC member, the other a former top aide to Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
Lets start there with the autopsy report authors.

This is not about Barbour or Mississippi, this is further proof that there really is a Uniparty.
I think that your senators in Georgia, as well as Tennessee’s senators are both part of a scheme to keep liberal republicans elected in conservative states. Built on the democrats good ole boy network, these liberal republicans work with their old buddies in the democrat party to hold power. Sorry to say but I think they may be working Kentucky the same way.
Think about it for a minute... what made Reagan a big tent guy and Ford, Bush I, Bush II, Romney, Dole and McCain not big tent guys.
I know you think the Tea Party is not big tent due to the media influencing you, but the Tea Party is the big tent. All the big government, so-called moderate GOP presidential candiates could not attract Democrat votes, but Reagan could. Bush I won his term running as Reagan's third term. In office, Bush I governed as a big government progressive and lost in the greatest political collapse for a president in American history; 90%+ support down to 37% vote. Why?
Bush II won running as a conservative and managed to hang on for a second term mostly because of his fighting the war on terror. He left in disgrace, due to his big government policies. Bush I left us the creepy Bill Clinton for 8 years and Bush II left us with the even creepier and more evil Obama for 8 years.
Progressive Republicanism is a loser at the polls, a loser in governing and leaves us with even further leftwing progressives once they leave office with their tail between their legs.
Don't allow yourself to be influenced by the media. Come'on.
Exactly. Lord has published a lot but never with such malapropisms and poor grammar.
Frankly, so am I and I have never been mistaken for a Democrat! LOL!
Unsurprised. And I’ve been unlikely to contribute to the NRSC for some time now, this just adds to the reasons.
It galls me to no end that the NRSC took donor money earmarked for defeating Democrats in November, and instead handed that money out to Democrats in June in order to defeat a Republican.
Thanks for that. I need to remember to hang on to my sense of humor. : )
GO to post #53 and read it in full.
Am Spectator pulled it late morning.
That other link was to some ? other site that had posted it in some bizarre form.
Thank you.
Thanks. After I posted I read the original that someone had posted on the thread, which was in the proper form.
Did they take this piece down? The link here doesn’t work, and I went to the site and could not find it. What’s up?
I guess the GOPE got them to pull it

“...this is further proof that there really is a Uniparty.”
Yep.
Boy, I thought I couldn’t be more disgusted, yet I am.
Thanks, and thank goodness someone did that, or I guess it would have been down the memory hole.
I am trying to get help to get all GOP types on the record. Definitely appreciate any help
